Originally from Massachusetts, Tony developed his interest in arts and crafts at a young age. When he got his first car, he went to an art store and bought a box of pastels. As he progressed in his artistic journey, he took an interest in watercolors and started combining mediums in his artwork.
His involvement in the art community motivated his enthusiasm to paint, and he became an award-winning artist. His artwork has made it into many private collections throughout the Northeast. Additionally, Tony’s interest and background in art have influenced the set designs he creates for theatre. Today, he teaches painting privately and in classroom settings, instilling passion, confidence, and enthusiasm in his students as he encourages and instructs. Above all, Tony knows the importance of loving what you do, and he brings that philosophy to every painting he creates. Tony's studio is in Astoria, New York where he primarily is working with acrylic paint, abstract art, and is a regular participating artist with the Long Island City Artist, Sunnyside Artist. |
